Stradivari in the subway
One of today's greatest violinists Joshua Bell went to play for tips in incognito on a subway platform in Washington, D.C.
He played on a Stradivari violin, six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, 1,097 people passed by, there were only six of them who stopped to listen the music...wow..He earned 32 $ as tips, while his concert ticket price average is 100 $...
And here's the whole audio of the performance.
